Effortless Swim Exchange Policy

We want you to love your swimwear, and sometimes that means finding the perfect size or style. Our exchange process is designed to be simple, fair, and helpful!

How Exchanges Work:

  • Exchange requests must be submitted within 5 business days of receiving your order.
  • To start an exchange, please fill out our Exchange Request Form with your order details and a photo of the item showing it is unworn and with liner.
  • We will review your request and confirm if your desired size or style is available.
  • Once confirmed, we will place your requested item on hold for 5 business days while you return the original item.
  • Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the return and the shipping fee for the new item.
  • After we receive and inspect your returned item to ensure it is unworn and in original condition, we will send you a payment link for the new shipping fee.
  • Your new swimwear will be shipped as soon as we receive payment for shipping.

Important Notes:

  • All SALE items are final sale — no exchanges or returns.
  • We cannot accept exchanges or returns for items that are worn, damaged, or missing tags.
  • If the returned item does not meet our condition requirements, we may deny the exchange and return the item to you or offer store credit at our discretion.
  • If you do not return the original item within 5 business days of confirmation, your held item will be released back into inventory.
  • Please keep your return tracking number handy and share it with us once you ship your return.

Q: How do I know if my exchange request is approved?
A: After submitting the Exchange Request Form, you will receive an email within 2 business days confirming if your requested size/style is available and the next steps.

Q: Can I exchange sale items?
A: Unfortunately, all sale items are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned.

Q: Who pays for return shipping?
A: Customers are responsible for paying the shipping cost to send the original item back to us, as well as the shipping fee for sending out the new swimwear.

Q: What if the item I want to exchange for is sold out?
A: If your desired style or size is unavailable, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative or offer store credit in some cases.

Q: How long do you hold the new item while I return the original?
A: We hold the new item for 5 business days after confirming your exchange request. If we don’t receive your return in that time, the held item will be released.

Q: What condition should the returned swimwear be in?
A: Returned items must be unworn, with tags and hygiene liners intact, and free of any damage or stains.

SHIPPING + HOURS

Orders are processed between 3-5 business days*. Effortless will contact you if an item is out of stock or if additional information is required for credit verification.
*Note: Orders placed on a Friday after 11am HST and over the weekend will not start being processed until the following Monday.
Our hours of operation are Monday & Thursday's. We are closed on all major holidays.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for your tracking number to show any updates.
Orders will not be refunded for packages that are not accepted by recipient.
Effortless Swim is not responsible for lost or stolen packages that are confirmed delivered by tracking. The customer is responsible for any loss or damage of these items.
